A MODEL OF MORAL RIGHTEOUSNESS & IGNORANCE TO HYPOCRISY
I relish opportunities where reflection & pondering encourage a sense of value awareness.
I go wild over revelations that provide a more robust understanding than before.
As Coach, I love nothing more than watching someone find meaning for themselves.
As a human, these days, I often wonder if there were more intentional spaces that actively advertised NO HATE, we could be developing stability for a more creative, sincere & safer society.
I wonder if we’re saying too much BEFORE listening enough through the art of self-reflection.
Culturally, we seem stuck in a fear-based model.
As Ram Dass says, fear is not the problem. It’s the model of having a problem.
It seems to be a problem of Moral Righteousness & an unconscious weaponizing of ignorance to hypocrisy. It’s a do whatever you want unto others, and at the moment, ignore that you wouldn’t like it done to you. It’s a combo that is creating a cultural, metaphorical Molotov Cocktail.
We’re diminishing intelligence & depth, assuming fragility.
We’re telling what to think & who to be.
We’re choosing aggression over empathy.
We’re using competition to justify denigration & slander.
We’re stifling unique perspectives, assassinating truths.
We’re denouncing intent as irrelevant, denying capacity.
We’re choosing entitlement & dominion over what is possible.
We’re negating the hypocrisy in vilifying another’s humanity.
We’re using holy anger to validate hyena-like attacks.
I want to develop a new kind of social community space together.
One that values clarity, silliness, oddities & audacity.
Shares anecdotes, reflections, & artistry.
Admits truths & discusses resonance without violence, verbal or otherwise.
A space where we can safely admit to where we struggle or are confused.
Where we feel challenged & anxious.
Where insights illuminate new or deeper awarenesses.
Where we can push our edges at our own pace.
Where we can discuss how possibility seems bleak & get support.
Where boundaries will be celebrated & respected.
Where the strange & odd is all.
Where accountability is celebrated.
Where creativity & flair is accepted.
Where love & overlap is divine, Universal, audacious, & evolve.
Where if you wouldn’t like ‘it’ done to you, you intentionally pause & think before you do it.
Where it is badass to be thoughtful & kind.
In this space, our space, we get to feel safe to:
See humanity 1st.
Hear with heart.
Endear reciprocity.
Engage through intent.
Respect boundaries.
We get to feel welcome to grow through a Practice of intentional Presence.
And that is the Dirty Pretty.
Be good to yourself.💋
With Blessings,
